TL;DR #

I’m Diogo Correia, born in 1996 in Portugal. Started my professional career as a Software Engineer in 2021. On this website, you’ll find technical posts, music content, and my thoughts on a variety of topics.

Work #

I’m a generalist programmer. From putting WebAssembly in microcontrollers, working on neuroscience browser applications, writing a Bluetooth Low Energy firewall, to deploying policy engines to Kubernetes, I’ve loved working through it all.

I’ve been a bit self-conscious about this, but I’m starting to feel comfortable with it. The fallacy is that a generalist is not a master of anything. I believe that with great commitment, being a generalist is being fluent on many things. It sharpens your understanding on what is possible and how it can be done.

Technical Interests #

I ♥ Nix & NixOS . I’m a Go enthusiast and Cloud Native advocate. A passionate open source partisan who believes in sustainable open software development.

When Not Coding #

Music is my forever loving side passion. I plan on hoarding music gear in direct proportion to how much space and money I can save.
